Meet Funke Akindele Working With The JENIFA foundation

The Jenifa Foundation (TJF) The JENIFA foundation is a youth empowerment non governmental organisation bourne out of the need to imbibe the culture of self reliance in Nigerian youths. It is aimed to encourage the youths to use their God given talent to achieve their set
goals without getting involved in social vices. In achieving this objective the foundation is in partnership with established professionals to train youths on various vocational skills which include Fashion design, make up, hairdressing, bead making and drama. It is in this reason that Funke Akindele establshed the Scene one school of drama a platform set up to discover and to develop raw talents in Drama. The school runs a six months duration training. The school's curriculum includes: Introduction to Drama, Traditional and contemporary dance, Music and Etiquette& Manners. The first set of the school will graduate in November 2011.
